It works on the Constant Rate of Elongation ( CRE ) principle.The equipment main body is made of SS & mild steel with Pneumatic jaws having 4 different type of SS jawplate s to hold various type of specimen for testing. The lower clamps or jaw is Stationary & the upperclamp is movable. The load exerted on the movable jaw is sensed by precise load cell which directlyindicates the load Accurate load digitally in kgf / Newton's/ Pounds /as well as in software .The equipment runs with advanced QCVATION™ Software through touch screen and the latest laptop Suppliedwith it. The equipment has an in-built provision for safety arrangement. It has a provision to prevent over travel ofthe moving jaw. It has an in-built line filter arrangement to check any fluctuations in power supply so that it doesnot have any effect on the result generated, thereby giving accurate result. The exclusive feature of Tensilestrength Tester i12 is that it can run from both,the touch screen or through the software in the laptop. Its softwareis advanced with all latest features. The equipment is finished in special blue & Grey powder coated paint. Theother parts are made with Stainless-Steel to give a corrosion resistant long-life finish.
